Quality Measures at Unigen Global Limited
Unigen Global has an determined commitment on “Quality” and adopts the following procedure as a standard for execution of all its shipments.
- The products are well-sourced, processed and kept clean, packed in the procurement units as per the customer’s specifications. The products are then sampled by internationally recognized Quality surveyors and are tested in their laboratories for the physical and the biological parameters. Upon confirmation of compliance of these parameters with the specifications, the products are then dispatched to the respective ports of loading.
- The containers booked from shipping lines of international repute are surveyed for their cleanliness & seaworthiness to carry foodstuff and are completely free from holes, slots or rusty surfaces.
- Thick quality kraft papers are enclosed inside the containers covering all the surfaces and the products are then loaded safely.
- To absorb moisture so formed during the transit of the containers, the Absorgel (dessicant) units or Silica gel units are placed inside the containers.
- Upon completion of the stuffing of goods inside the containers, fumigation is carried out with the suitable fumigant such as Methyl bromide or Aluminium phosphide at the dosage rate as prescribed by the Plant quarantine department of the country of destination. This prevents the formation of pests/worms/weevils inside the containers during the transit.
- The containers are finally sealed by the customs authorizes and loaded onto the intended vessels for safe voyage and delivery of the goods at the ports of destination.
